Dj Fanclub's weekend jetlag

Het is nu dinsdagochtend 08.00 uur en de hele nacht geen oog dicht gedaan. Dat is toch niet normaal meer? Kom laat ik eens een kopje thee zetten en dit hele slapeloosheids-gedoe uit leggen...


Top-sport?
Als je elke week zoals ik een stukje schrijft voor PartyScene.nl dan moet je wel iets om over te schrijven hebben en aangezien deze site over uitgaan gaat, ga ik uit tot het gaatje. Maar dat is alleen maar logisch, zou Johan Cruyff zeggen. Het lijkt wel top-sport! Zoals bij alle topsporten worden er hulpmiddelen gebruikt. Vaak in de “echte” top-sport onder begeleiding van artsen. Club-artsen! (EPO, Nandrolon, Speed, etc.) Waarom hebben wij van de club-scene dan geen club-artsen? Nee, wij moeten het allemaal weer zelf uitzoeken. Nou en dat valt niet mee, kan ik u vertellen. Ik zelf ga als een speer op bier, maar over de bijwerkingen staat niks op de bijsluiter. Er is niet eens een bijsluiter.

“The Shining”
Het is 01.00 uur. Het is zaterdag-nacht. Ik wordt wakker en constateer dat ik GVD nog in m’n bedje lig te rotten. Godnondeju. Ik doe met m’n afstandsbediening m’n TV, die helemaal aan het voeteneinde staat’ aan en zap langs alle 5 de kanalen die ik nog heb, nadat UPC de etherfrequenties hier in Oost veranderd heeft. Ik denk dat het de BBC was, die “The Shining” aan het vertonen was. Een prachtfilm naar een roman van Stephan King, onder regie van de wijlen Stanley Kubrick, met Jack Nickolson en Shelley Duvall. De film loopt al tegen het einde (Ja, dan moet je maar eerder op staan, Jack!) en de beroemde scene komt langs, waarin Duvall ontdekt waar Jack al die maanden mee bezig is geweest. In plaats van een boek te schrijven heeft Nickolson slechts de zin “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” over en over getypt...

Hart
Zaterdag nacht dus recht uit bed naar Panama, om verslag te doen over het feest “Hart” wat zijn 1 jarig bestaan vierde. (tevens Amnesty International benefiet) Complimenten aan Myra en haar kompanen. Het was mooi, het was fijn! Daarna nog ff bij een goede buurman en bevriende DJ doorzakken en om 10.00 uur zat de werkdag er weer op. Tijd om naar bed te gaan.

Jetlag?
Toch raak je aardig ontregeld, door die weekenden. Een soort Jetlag, maar dan zonder te vliegen. En daar had ik het met jullie over willen hebben, maar ik begin slaap te krijgen en dan worden mijn zinnen nog onsamenhangender dan dat ze altijd al zijn. Zo had ik het nog willen hebben over waarom ik soms niet kan slapen terwijl er geen sprake is van die zogenaamde “weekendlag”. Dan maak ik me zorgen. Zorgen om werk. Zorgen om Jan-Peter Balkenende (rechts) TWEE, of ik maak me zorgen om Wouter Bos (links) EEN en of Wouter wel genoeg slaap krijgt! Dat soort dingen. Misschien moet ik hier (dat stukjes schrijven voor PartyScene.nl) maar eens mee op houden, want zo kan het niet langer, dat moge duidelijk zijn. Ik begin steeds meer onzin uit te kramen en kom niet meer aan m’n doordeweekse werk toe....
