Derde mixalbum in 2007 v/d kleine Master at Work

De kleine Master at Work, Louie Vega, vindt niet dat hij een overkill aan cd-verzamelaars op de dance-markt afvuurt. Vandaar dat zijn nieuwe mixalbum In The House volgende maand in de winkel ligt. Het is zijn derde verzamelaar in 2007.

Je zou bijna denken dat Louie Vega iemand in dienst heeft genomen die allerlei verzamelaars voor de kleine househeld samenstelt en mixt. Verscheen begin dit jaar Mix The Vibe by Louie Vega, en onlangs de mixcompilatie Strictly Masters at Work (daarvan binnenkort een recensie), ligt in september Louie’s triple-cd In The House in de schappen.

Hoewel de vorige cd’s van de serie In The House hoofdzakelijk gevuld zijn met soulvolle house en garage, heeft Louie Vega opvallend veel latin-georiënteerde housetracks geselecteerd op zijn nieuwe mixcompilatie. Zijn muzikale held is dan ook de legendarische latinzanger en oom Hector Lavoe, waarover momenteel een film - El Cantante (The Singer) - wordt opgenomen met Mark Anthony en Jennifer Lopez in de hoofdrol.
