Oude helden en genres in de remix

Ach, het is een trend. En soms pakt het best goed uit: oude muziekhelden en -genres in de remix. Schreven we al over het remixalbum van James Brown en Bob Marley, viel ons oog vandaag op de cd Motown remixed vol 2.  

In 2005 verscheen het eerste deel van ‘Motown Remixed’, waarop de grootste Motown-hits, o.a. door DJ Spinna, Jazzy Jeff, King Britt, in een nieuw jasje worden gehesen. Op het nieuwste deel staan geremixte tracks van Jackson 5, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye en Smokey Robinson. De cd ligt vanaf vandaag in de winkel.
