Vijf jaar Dirtybird

Claude VonStroke komt ter ere van het vijfjarig bestaan van Dirtybird met een compilatie.

De allereerste plaat van het Amerikaanse label Dirtybird kwam uit in januari 2005. Het label werd opgericht door dj/producer Claude VonStroke, die daarmee een nieuwe richting binnen de tech-house aangaf. Sinds de oprichting zijn Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Christian Martin, J Phlip en Worthy, de vaste producers clan van Dirtybird, de hele wereld over gevlogen en is het snel met hen gegaan. En nu bestaat het label dus vijf jaar en dat gaat groots gevierd worden.

Dat gebeurt onder meer met een speciale compilatie, bestaande uit drie cd’s: 5 Years of Dirtybird. Die moet uitkomen in april. De eerste cd is een cd met de grootste hits van het label, er is een speciale Dirtybird mix, gemixed door Justin Martin en de derde cd bevat gloednieuwe Dirtybird tracks, van gevestigde namen, als nieuw talent. “Ik ben nog nooit zo enthousiast geweest over een release. Het is het beste werk van ons label, allemaal in een gigantisch pakket,” aldus Claude VonStroke. Check de tracklistings hieronder.
