Groove Armada Essential Mix

Het nieuwe album van Groove Armada is af. De heren hadden weer even tijd voor muziek van anderen. Dit weekend deed het duo een Essential mix, die hier nu te downloaden is.

Groove Armada heeft lang in de studio gezeten om het nieuwe album Soundboy Rock te maken. Het album is inmiddels klaar, maar andere muziek kwam daardoor wel in het gedrang. "Because we've been locked away in the rehearsal room, we phoned our favourite record shops and they sent bags of new records over to the rehearsal place. So then it was just a case of getting on top of a lot of new music very quickly. There was a certain amount of chaos about it, but I think out of that chaos it's got a really nice sound," legt Andy Cato uit op de weblog van Groove Armada.

Het Britse duo was dit weekend dan ook verantwoordelijk voor de Essential Mix op BBC Radio 1. De mix is hier te downloaden.
