Ministry of Axwell

De Zweedse house dj en producer Axwell gooit de laatste tijd hoge ogen met zijn uplifting house producties en samen met Steve Angello en Sebastian Ingrosso vormt hij de voorhoede van de Zweedse sound, die overal gretig aftrek vindt. Axwell borrelde in 2005 op uit de kelders van de Zweedse housescene en schoot als een komeet omhoog toen zijn track Feel The Vibe werd getekend door Data Records, een label van Ministry of Sound. Opvolger Watch the Sunrise deed het minstens zo goed en de successen stelden Axwell in de gelegenheid om artiesten als Roger Sanchez, Usher en  N.E.R.D. te remixen.

Sessions is overigens al de tweede compilatie die Axwell voor Ministry of Sound maakt. Eerder dit jaar mixte hij ook al cd 2 van Clubbers Guide to 2006. Sessions bestaat uit twee delen. De eerste cd is getiteld The Club, met echt voer voor de dansvloer en cd 2, The Villa, is voor een fijn feestje bij je thuis. De cd ligt eind augustus in de winkels.
