Partyscene: Just for the Dutch audience who have been sleeping in a cave over the last years: who are you and why should we wake up to listen to your music?

S.I. Futures: “It’s interesting funky future electronics .... that you may or may not like , but at least you won't be bored...”

Partyscene: You just released your first album via Novamute "The Mission Statement" but produced under a lot different names like Bigfoot, CabbageBoy en Buckfunk 3000. Can't you make a choice?

S.I. Futures: “It’s the record industry i'm afraid....but hopefuly i'm gonna stick with s.i.futures fer now”

Partyscene: You started as an Acid House addict (correct me if I'm wrong) and evolved to someone who nowadays embraces a lot of different styles. How did you manage to put them together on the new album?

S.I. Futures: “To be honest i've always been into all types of music...i just seems natural for me to make lots of different styles i'd be bored out of my mind otherwise...”

Partyscene: Do you happen to drive a Ford Mondeo?

S.I. Futures: “No i can't drive , but me and my girl just bought a VW polo , so i'm learning....”

Partyscene: Don't you think the musicscene takes itself far to serious?

S.I. Futures: “Yes , yes and yes , especialy when so much of the music is so simple and mindless”

Partyscene: Why should we buy your new album?

S.I. Futures: “Cos i think it will entertain.......whatever the weather”
