Mad Decent viert kerst met gratis album

Over iets minder dan een maand is het weer zo ver: dan staan de feestdagen weer voor de deur. Hierbij hoort altijd een hoop gezelligheid en saamhorigheid, maar ook staan veel mensen even stil bij alles wat er in de wereld gebeurt zowel goed als slecht. Veel mensen geven iets extra’s of doen iets voor het goede doel. Ook Major Lazer speelt dit jaar voor kerstman want zij dragen bij aan het gratis te downloaden compilatie album ‘A Very Decent Christmas 4’.

Mad Decent en kerst

Het compilatie album is een jaarlijks terugkomende traditie van Diplo’s label Mad Decent. Ieder jaar komt er een album uit met de titel ‘A Very Decent Christmas’ en dit jaar is het alweer de vierde keer dat er zo’n album uitkomt. Op het album staan behoorlijk wat tracks van allerlei artiesten die aangesloten zijn bij het label. Zo waren er op de voorgaande edities nummers van Alvaro, Wiwek, Davoodi, DJ Snake en Kennedy Jones te vinden. Het album van dit jaar bestaat uit 10 tracks gemaakt door onder andere Bad Royale, 4B, KiWi en natuurlijk Major Lazer.

Major Lazer – Christmas Trees

Het nummer van Major Lazer is de eerste track van het album en brengt een ode aan alle planten die je voor andere doeleinden kan gebruiken. Met name planten die je kan roken staan centraal in het nummer wat is ingezongen door reggae zanger Protoje.
